The 24th Annual Old Strathcona Foundation's Silly Summer Parade and Picnic in the Park takes to the streets of Old Strathcona at noon on Friday, July 1st .

The annual Silly Summer Parade mixes Canada Day spirit with twisted humor and good old-fashion fun.  The Silly Summer Parade will be following the same route as 2010 starting at noon, winding up at Queen Alexandra School (7730 - 106 Street) for the Picnic in the Park Event.  This fun filled afternoon features family activities including a jumping good time courtesy of Inflatable Fun, entertainment, a fundraising Bar-B-Que and of course Canada Day cake.  All activities at the Picnic in the Park are free of charge, donations will be accepted for the Old Strathcona Foundation.
